who. Pietro and Luna
what. A much needed talk
when. Yesterday
where. Luna's
warnings. None, aside from some language and possibly some violence from Luna
There were few people in the world that could make Pietro Maximoff hesitate like this. It spoke of how much he loved Luna that he was pacing in front of the door to her apartment. He moved quickly enough that if anyone passed, they would just see a blur moving back and forth in front of the door. If he continued long enough he'd probably wear a path onto the tiles.
After a few minutes - quite a long wait for Pietro - he stopped suddenly and took a deep breath. His hand hovered over the door and he was just about to knock, Wanda's words echoing through his head. But he stopped himself just as suddenly and paced again before finally deciding the best course of action was to just burst in. This way, Luna couldn't pretend she wasn't home. This way, he'd be able to really confront her. This way, he hoped, they'd actually be able to talk.
It took little effort to open the door. Pietro entered the apartment as a blur. He would have scooped his daughter up into his arms and taken her for a run somewhere if he hadn't spotted her curled up into a little ball. There was a rhythmic shaking and a soft kitten-like mewl coming from underneath the blankets that alerted Pietro to the fact that his daughter was crying. He had expected and would have almost welcomed her shouting and screaming and cursing. He hadn't expected this. He didn't quite know how to deal with this. "Luna..." she might have missed his quiet voice if she wasn't paying attention. He stood awkwardly over her, concern in his eyes.
