Pietro had been emotional before he'd even stepped into the apartment. Luna's words had cut and let loose a lot of guilt that Pietro had been holding in for some time. Now, quietly assaulted by Luna's powers - and he could sense Luna's powers because he'd been on the receiving end of them more than once in his life - he felt guilt and grief tighten his chest. For a moment, it felt difficult to breathe, the weight of his past actions were so heavy on his shoulders. It wasn't enough to keep him away, but it was enough to force his eyes to the floor.
"Luna," Pietro sounded louder, but more pained. She wasn't acknowledging him yet, but he was certain she knew he was there. "Stop," he said. It was too weak to be a command. It came out more as though Pietro was pleading with her. "Please."
