"Hm," Pietro said. He wouldn't insult Crystal. He didn't have much room to do so, really, not when he hadn't been around to see how Crystal had raised their daughter. Pietro's hand was still on Luna's arm. "She loves you." He exhaled quietly. Then, after a moment, he added, "Your family loves you, Luna." He said it because he'd grown up questioning his father's love and he didn't want Luna to do that. Pietro wasn't the best father, but he did love his child more than himself, more than almost anyone.
