Who: Michael Myers and Laurie Strode (and get this, neither is trying to kill the other!)
Where: Some random streetcorner in Los Angeles.
When: After dark.
Warnings: Dark themes, I'd say, mmm yep, makes sense.
Another fast moving car zipped past Laurie Strode, and she sunk deeper into the depths of the hoodie she'd changed in to, seeking comfort from the fast moving world that she wasn't at all familiar with. This most definitely was not Haddonfield and as much as she didn't want to believe the guy who'd slaughtered her two best friends and their boytoys, that is, if Annie had died after Laurie had appeared here, she didn't see how else this was possible. It was dark, so dark, but there was so much light from the hundreds of cars bunched on the road, it was the only thing keeping her from feeling absolutely terrified.
She was curled up in a ball on the sidewalk, her knees pulled tight to her chest as she watched people head home and head out to party. There weren't many pedestrians this time of day, and she didn't think Michael would be coming there via portkey with a car, so she was watching, basically, for a really big guy on foot. She huffed as she turned her head to look around, this was California, all the really big guys would be on foot if they heard a cute little female was sitting on a street corner, sure. She pushed the hoodie bravely away from her face, stained from the red spatters she had scrubbed off upon arrival. She'd found a set of clean clothes and some soap, so she'd gone into a restaurant bathroom to clean up.
Her eye was still a little off, cut around the outside, but it would heal in time. Some other cuts and bruises lined her skin, but she didn't pay them any mind, she was truly anxious to see her brother in person. A brother, she had a brother. She'd been right about the Strodes, nice people but. . .Well, you sort of noticed when you looked lik neither your mother or father and they didn't have pictures of you younger than a certain age. She'd never cared though, it was the only life she'd known and it was a good one. But now that wasn't the case, now there was so much more. Standing from her human ball she wrapped her arms against herself and sighed, looking around, eyes growing tired from the strain with their injury. Just a little whole longer, he said it eas magic, magic was instantaneous. . .right?
