It had been a couple days since Petit's surprise, she was doing better than she had been at first, though she was still more rattled than she let on. So she'd done the only sensible thing she could think of and had called the only other person who was dealing with the same thing.
Of course as soon as Lulu had agreed to come over, Petit went about putting the water on for tea, and raiding the cabinets for Jaffa cakes. Henn had been keeping her in a steady supply, knowing how much she liked them. |
