Belle leaned on the railing of her porch, a glass of iced tea sweating next to her arm. The kids were playing in front of her, and she watched them, so proud she could burst.
She wasn't really paying attention to the time, content to watch her kids run around and be kids in a way she'd never really gotten to.
It was all that she had ever asked for.
The recent commissions from Cable had wound up taking up a lot of Alex's time, and her brain buzzed with his thoughts. She poked him a little, and told him her plans. As predicted, he didn't mind. She promised him a nice relaxing massage when he finished, and focused on the real world just in time to see Presto as he approached the house. |

What: Meetings, old war stories, and other things
When/Where: Tonight ('before nightfall'), the outskirts of London at Jack and Bill's place.
Warnings: Two slightly crazed vampires start telling tales- likely PG-13 or so.
It did take Malakai the time he warned it might, to find the place, but he got there finally, sauntering up to the door and shifting the bag in his arms, so he could give a knock. He had to wait for a formal invitation to let himself in, one of the quirks of his kind. So, he stood, and waited. |
