The portkey dropped the Rogans off a few blocks away from their hotel. Belle looked around, wondering if it would look like it had when she'd been here with Remy.

It didn't, but that was okay. This was chance to make new memories, not pick over old ones.

She kissed Alex softly, and wheeled her stroller toward the hotel.

Of course. She tossed him the bag, fishing out the dried cranberries she'd packed for herself.

Marcus waddled over, and held out his cookie encrusted hand and whined. Belle tilted her head, blinking, and said "huh?" Teaching him to ask and not whine was becoming a much harder task than she'd initially anticipated.

Looks like we'll be stuck with a grumpy little boy all day.

	That made Belle snicker. Which hurt Marcus' already fragile ego. He sat down the floor with an undignified plop and started to cry. Or at least half cry, since there weren't any tears. Belle sighed, and pinched the bridge of her nose. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

Alex shook his head then went in for the big guns, he took out a shiny thing, a piece of one of his ships, from a small box and whirled it around Marcus, who gasped and stared. No matter when he saw it, it always caught his attention.

He stared and babbled at it, and the shiny thing, hovering on ag motors, bobbed as if it understood, and spun in, touched Marcus's nose(eliciting a squeel of half delight), and whirred away again.

Marcus clapped and laughed.
