Who: Everyone involved in the Solomon's Crown plot
Where: a private meeting hall in Italy
What: Suiting up, comparing notes, eating dinner
When: Early evening, Milan time

The meeting hall was not huge. It could have been any meeting hall in any library in the world. The fact that it was filled to the brim with food that technically wasn't supposed to be there was the only thing that set the room apart from any other.

The people inside the room, however, were such a varied amalgam that there was no mistaking this for a book of the month club meeting.

There were maps of Israel and Jerusalem pinned to the walls, and various scribblings in both English and Creole on the sides. A stack of neat notes, written in Italian, were on the table, far away from the food. A photocopied packet of the notes was by each of the seven seats.

A golem? That definitely intrigued him. Not to mention it was one of the few mythological creatures he actually knew of. "Onyxx smash," he joked, screwing up his face in a fairly good impersonation of the Hulk. "Oh, Candy? I met her on the forums. We've been together for a little bit now." His face darkened and he added, "They were going to stone her in the dark ages. For being a witch. I killed two guards, and maybe a few civilians, in London that day."

	Belle nodded. "We all did things in those days that we would rather not have." She sighed. "That particular day I decided it was in my best interest to be drunk the whole time. It was being in France during World War two that was most difficult for me." (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

"Yeah, that doesn't sound like the bets place to be for that. World War two..." He sighed and shook his head to clear it if the images. "Y'know how Hitler did 'special' experiments?" He glanced down at his feet. "The Nazis knew what a mutant was. I don't know how, but they did, and when I showed up looking like a giant guy made of granite, well... Let's just say they wanted to research and replicate the powers."

	Onyxx nodded emphatically at that. "Damn right." He glanced around at all the people in the room. "Huh. We've got a pretty good sized expedition here." Then he looked back at Belle, brow furrowed in thought. "So, level with me. What are we going to do when we find the crown? 	She smiled. "I like you more and more everytime we talk, Onyxx. Good question. The crown goes to a scholar, who'll give it to the highest bidder. We're working for a six way split on half of what he gets." Belle isn't going to take a portion, since she got paid to 'kill' him. (Reply to this) (Parent)
