Who: Everyone involved in the Solomon's Crown plot
Where: a private meeting hall in Italy
What: Suiting up, comparing notes, eating dinner
When: Early evening, Milan time

The meeting hall was not huge. It could have been any meeting hall in any library in the world. The fact that it was filled to the brim with food that technically wasn't supposed to be there was the only thing that set the room apart from any other.

The people inside the room, however, were such a varied amalgam that there was no mistaking this for a book of the month club meeting.

There were maps of Israel and Jerusalem pinned to the walls, and various scribblings in both English and Creole on the sides. A stack of neat notes, written in Italian, were on the table, far away from the food. A photocopied packet of the notes was by each of the seven seats.

Jonas had never been to Italy. He didn't really know why not, considering the fact that portkeys made it easy to go basically where ever one wanted. It had just never really occured to him. That made today particularly special.

There was also the whole 'We're going to go steal cool ancient treasure' thing, which probably explained why he'd walked into the meeting hall wearing a genuine Indiana Jones hat that he'd bought at a costume shop in queens for three dollars. He snagged some chips, dumped them into his hat, and then plunked down at one of the seats, munching away.

Adventure. Hats. Chips in hats. Ah, this was the life!

	She giggled and sat in the chair next to him. "I'm glad you're excited! It's good to be excited. Just don't loose your head. I don't need to loose a friend for a stupid artifact." 	He beamed. "I hold up under pressure! I promise not to be a spaz. Promise." He giggled again, squirming as he felt her poke about in his mind.
