Pepper was pacing back and forth just as nervously as ever. Sure there was this whole thing in the future, but really she was more worried that she'd made a mistake. That he really was just Tony trying to be funny and get her to see him. She wanted to trust him, really she did, but after he'd not gone away the last time she told him and the whole stairs thing happened, she didn't know if she wanted to deal with it.

But it was too late for that now, he was on his way there. And so she waited impatiently for him to show up. She really hoped this wouldn't be as crap as the last time. She wasn't quite sure she'd handle this if it was all just a ploy.

"Yeah, I know.." if he stayed with her. Of course. Well it wasn't like she wasn't aware. And no he hadn't said the words, but that was okay with her she guessed. She always knew that it was her that had the feelings. "I know how you are, Tony. I've been well aware of that for .. a decade or more.. right, you'll have to teach me all the new things." she kept making noise everytime he touched her, and swallowed a bit, trying not to look at him either for some reason.

He nodded, though it spoke volumes to him that Pepper knew how he was yet she still loved and wanted him. Kissing the edge of her shoulder, he rolled her to lie on her back, his body angling so he was half on top of her and the lower half curled against her. Then as he kissed her tenderly, fingers threading into her hair, he murmured, "I love you," as their eyes met.

	Rolling over to lie on her back, she waited to feel the warm strength of his body against hers. Her hands slid down his neck and his shoulders, and then to his chest. She kissed him happily, nibbling on his bottom lip and then moved her hands up to his cheek. "I love you too..." then she kissed his chin, "Will that be all Mr. Stark?" she asked slyly.
