What: A meeting of like minds
Where: The bar
When: Tuesday afternoon
Status/Rating: Incomplete, probably low
Tom had never been one to particularly enjoy work, but he found that when it served a purpose, he didn't entirely mind it. While barkeeping was something of an oddity for him, it allowed him the opportunity to examine a good deal of the people who lived here and learn about them. And, really, excess knowledge was always handy in some way or another. While he was glad to have Bella's services, he was perpetually aware of the fact that he was surrounded by peoplewho considered him to be an enemy - some of whom were now regaining their magical abilities. That had irked him. He didn't like how defenseless he felt without his wand at hand.
Still, while he couldn't be active at the very least no one had decided to confront him in any manner other than their useless drivel through journals. what did he care if they didn't like him? They could whine all they wanted; it did nothing to him.
It was late afternoon at the bar, which meant that it was still slow, which Tom didn't mind. He was perusing through a book and had spent some of the morning trying to piece together why certain people would have magic now when others didn't - although, he was acutely aware of the fact that the system might have been as random as when the memories had been returned.
The only other person in the bar with him at the moment was a young boy with blond hair. Tom had been slightly amused when the other had decided to order tea of all things, but certainly hadn't begrudged him his request. He had then left the other alone to occupy his table in the bar.
