For once, Angelina Johnson-Weasley was looking forwards to some manual labour. In the past she would have used magic for these simple tasks, but not here. Not anymore. Dishes had to be washed by hand, her hair had to be combed nightly, and the beds never made themselves. It really put things into perspective for Angelina, since being here. Muggles did not have it easy, and she never desired to go without magic again. Chores became chores, and work was made that much harder. She couldn't just fly around and exhaust herself. Being a bank teller was nearly impossible, Ange wouldn't have been able to do it without the muggle invention of a calculator. It was brilliant, really. Muggles were quite useful with all sorts of different things, and Angelina was developing a newfound appreciation for them.
Painting today was meant to be a welcomed distraction. Since arrive here, Angelina had been in the middle of a soap opera. She was still, but she was learning to deal with it. She was not getting back together with her husband anytime soon, and she had no plans to get together with anyone for a while. Her children were much too important to her than her own love life. Of course, that didn't mean she didn't feel lust or jealousy when she saw George, or even Fred. And with a wedding now in the works? It was almost too much to bear. If George and Pansy planned a wedding, Angelina was likely to go homicidal. Hopefully that didn't happen though.
After leaving work, Angelina had stopped to pick up some paint. She'd gotten light purple, green, and yellow. They seemed to be colours that matched up well, and hopefully the light colours would bring warmth and happiness. If they didn't work, the girls could always repaint. Lugging the paint cans into the house, Angelina called out to her housemates. She hoped they were home, because she wasn't entirely sure which colours to put where.
