Angelina nodded and looked around the room as Helena spoke. The houses were all the same, and all so boring. Even just a splash of paint was going to make a different. By now, Ange had learned that they weren't going home anytime soon. She might as well make her house look like a warm and welcoming house. The colours Ange had picked out were gorgeous - it certainly had taken her long enough to decide. She couldn't remember taking so long to decide on the precise shades of each. Apparently redecoration was almost as frustrating as it was enjoyable.
Stepping forwards, Ange smiled when she saw the colour Helena had picked. The purple shade had been her favourite too. "Why don't we put that in the bedroom, then? I've been told yellow is a nice neutral colour, so we could put that out here, and then paint the bathroom and hallways green?" Everything seemed to click in place for Angelina, and she could feel the excitement cursing through her veins. How the hell had she been given the job of a bank teller when she'd always been active and using her hands?
"I'm just going to go pop this on!" she said, holding up the overalls. Within seconds, Ange had slipped around the corner and reappeared in her painting outfit. Her hair was loosely tied back, and with a nod she got to work stirring the paint up.
