It's complicated. I'm not even sure I would know where to begin explaining it other than something that we should have had was taken from us and now I don't think anyone is recovering from it. Dean ran off and he won't tell me when he's coming back, but it's not that surprising. That's what he does. The minute a crisis emerges and he puts up a big, impenetrable emotional wall to keep the rest of the world out.

How do you deal with John when he gets like that?

John and I are very similar when it comes to when we need space. I try not to push. I know that he has a sordid past and I just feel that when and if he's ready to talk about it he will.

Nothing is ever easy when it comes to family. That is why I try not to push when he doesn't want to talk about his sons.

	For what it's worth, I'm sorry for whatever it was. People just have to work out things on their own. No matter how much you try to help them in the end the only person that they're really accountable to is themselves.
