Well, I wasn't quite expecting that.

I'm wholly confused, I've a certain feeling that I'm not in the Carribean anymore. Actually, this seems quite like England, judging by weather.

In any case, I'm Bill Turner, and apparently I've become a curator at the museum of naval history in London...?

It was part of who I was. I wasn't just any ship. The longer they stayed on, the longer they feared and ran from death, the more they became a part of me and less of themselves.

That makes sense.

And, I may regret asking this... But you said I was a part of it.

How long? How long did I stay afraid of death, how long did I fear the end? I know myself well enough to know that I no longer fear death, but I did, and I did for a long while after my own.

Did I become a part of you?

(By the way, this is fascinating to me - to talk to a ship I so long wanted to know personally, but not so much as to step foot on. I'm simply enthralled. Thank you for answering my questions, Lady Dutchman, I'm so grateful for you being here. I'll likely write about this later, if you don't mind. I like to keep a journal of what I've seen and done, so that it isn't lost to the world.)

This is not a subject, I'd like to address but I promised to answer questions and so I shall. Better now then later. I will answer them one at a time.

How long? Many, many years.

How long did I stay afraid of death, how long did I fear the end? I'm not sure if you ever stopped fearing death, but eventually it didn't matter. You had a term to serve.

Did I become a part of you? For a time, yes. When William became captain, you became yourself again.

And, I do not mind if you write of this. I have nothing to hide or be ashamed of. I'm flattered by your enthusiasm.

That's disheartening, to know I'd let myself fall so low.

I'm glad Fate had a different path for me in my own reality. To sink so deep due to fear of death, it's a shame I ended up that way. Will's a good man. I should thank him for his bravery and strength if his timeline is the same as yours.

Oh, I'm fascinated beyond words at this. You've no idea how intrigued I am with being able to ask the most infamous ship in history questions - and to have them answered! You must have incredible stories to tell. I write quite a lot on the varied subjects of the paranormal and unknown, and this is just... I really have no words for it. If you'd allow me, I'd like to sit down and have a chat with you personally one day, just to hear some stories, perhaps write them down? They may not ever be published, but they certainly would never be forgotten.

You were a good man, with a good heart. You never belonged among that crew.

And I would be happy to meet with you, if that's what you'd like. At the very least, I owe you that.

You owe me nothing, Lady Dutchman, but the honor would be all mine.

I've got nothing but time right now, just pouring through old journals that are mine, though I haven't the foggiest idea how they got here.

My house is open to guests, though if you'd prefer, we could meet somewhere first?

I much prefer the outdoors and open spaces. I will buy you lunch by the pier. We can start our conversation there and migrate if you like.

Wonderful plan, and that doesn't much surprise me - the wish to be outdoors thing.

I'll meet you there. I'm sure you'll recognize me.

((ooc: thread at logs? AIM? whichever works best for you!))
