	It worries me that you don't seem to have met many people who can see the bigger picture, then. I don't see it as forward-thinking so much as animal logic. 	I've never heard of anything like that! That must be incredibly useful. Especially in this world, where nearly everything seems to be made of metal. It might not have been so useful where I come from, but here...there's metal everywhere. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Where are you, exactly? I'm somewhere called London, at least for now. I think everything's made of metal. I find it pretty uncomfortable, to be honest, but you might like it. I wouldn't have thought it was possible for there to be this much metal. Just thinking of how much time it must take for it to be mined, and forged, and shaped, and built...it's beyond me. That sounds like London, yes. I don't think the noise ever stops. I've been here a few weeks but I don't think I can put up with it anymore, so I'll be leaving soon. Glad you're in vaguely familiar surroundings, though. I hope it helps you. It's not familiar to me at all, I don't know what I would've done if I hadn't been lucky enough to make a friend right after arriving.

Yes...there are certainly loose ends I wish I'd been able to tie up before I left, if nothing else. And more warning of what to expect would have been good. Though people here seem very good at finding newcomers and helping them along.

Speaking of which, I'm sorry, did you need any help? Has anyone explained things to you yet, about replacements and ID and all that? Or did you know? I meant to ask earlier, but we got so distracted.

	Erik is fine, never a fan of titles, myself. The glitter and the blinking pictures were painful, yes, but provided the information around them is correct, I have at least some idea of what's going on. (Reply to this) (Parent)
