Without prying into personal business, I'm rather pleased there isn't.

Miss Yamamura: I still am not wholly comfortable with this idea; I find something repellent and frankly unsettling in the apparent fact that humanity can be cobbled together like a child playing with blocks. However, I promised my assistance and I will not go back on my word. A difficult and complex relationship exists between myself and the being you refer to as uncle, but to honor my agreements is a point of pride.

Besides, I admit to being curious as to my own part of this - to know that possession is possible using only the mundane parts of a soul - and for that to work, this is a necessary step. Please know I have nothing against you personally, but I thought it best to be honest about my own opinions.

	I wish I could say that it were more complicated, but the creation of life is not the part that's difficult. The soul is the part that's complicated. That's why I can't help with things like depression, but I can heal injuries. The brain is too secretive, thoughts too complex, the soul too elusive. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

I suppose any human woman can create life. And I understand what you say about the brain. But the brain must also be created; it merely develops on its own. To create a brain a certain way surely must affect what grows inside it.

At any rate, I've said my piece. I am beginning to research the possibility of doing what Raziel asks; to see if only the mundane parts of a soul may be used in a possession. Would you merely like to be kept informed, or are you familiar with the discipline? I have no objection to reporting my findings at regular intervals.

Very well, thank you. And I will not overburden you; some of what I study is, I freely admit, dull to most. What I believe may be the most successful strategy, if this is even possible, is to try a separation spell. Twinned souls may be separated. If I can, in theory, separate the mortal from the immortal aspects of a soul.

... I would obviously not test such a thing on a living soul, but I will find a way.
