It isn't me that's making you remember, sweetheart. It's this place. Sometimes it gives us memories of things that we aren't supposed to have, or that we don't want to have.

If it frightens you or mixes you up too much, I can take them away, Jack. And you and Ennis needn't worry about who knows about your love for each other. This world is much more open about men loving men and women loving women.
