They're the only real friends I got.

Well, Daddy didn't get to see me for a whole lot, Mama was still married t'that Kurt feller an' he was right mean t'her. Meaner 'an Daddy was sometimes. That Kurt feller di'n't like me much 'cause I weren't his son.
