Okay, I know I suggested this a while back, but then the world went crazy a couple times over, and it seems like we've got even more new and soon-to-be new mothers now than we did then.

Hi! I'm Brenda Annn Turner, and I've got a kid who's just a year old, and I know a couple people who've either just had or are going to have newborns in the next few months and I think a mom's club sort of thing could be good for everyone.

If you're interested drop me a line, of course older siblings, babysitters and significant others of all sorts are welcome as well.

Well it's great to meet you! Do you have any dietary or travel restrictions that we may need to take into account? Want to make this as stress-free on everyone as possible.

I can't stomach chocolate right now, unfortunately, but that's about it. In fact, my diet is pretty full of rich, fatty things right now, so anything should be fine.

As for travel, nope. I've got my portkey built in.

Good, good, that makes everything easier. And you'll get over the chocolate thing, trust me.

It seems the baby just doesn't like it. It hasn't tasted right since I got pregnant. I'm going to pig out once she's born though.

Yep, mine caused that reaction with strawberry jam. Unless of course I was having it with sardines or smoked oysters, which I don't usually eat either of. Got over it though, you'll like chocolate again before September, I bet.

Yeah, I can't imagine anyone eating a lot of those, and especially not with strawberry jam!

If I do, that's awesome, if I don't, it's not like I don't have every other pleasure food craving right now to fill me instead.

Mostly I don't because I'm mostly-vegan. I'm sort of... free-range vegan. I'll eat local-free-range eggs and local honey, that kind of thing, but no meat unless I took it down myself, which I don't think I'd be very good at.

Oh, well, yeah. That would be weird then. Luckily, I don't have a problem eating cake!

Cake is something we always have in abundance in this household.
