That was...unexpected. I highly doubt that was a normal tornado. Could someone perhaps shed a little light on this situation?

Josie it is, then. Unless you'd prefer Sophie.

Not I. I was down south, and now I am in New York. Not that this disturbs me, I am used to the city. Otherwise, my situation seems relatively similar, though the world seems a much brighter place than my own.

Josie works.

That's not so bad, I got dragged from Hong Kong to London. And do you mean brighter literally? Or more metaphorically? Because it's metaphorically brighter than where I'm from, at least so far.

Metaphorically. My world was fairly constantly under the threat of nuclear war.

I'm also relatively happy to see that I will no longer have to tolerate Richard Nixon.

I'm just glad I ain't got Division waiting for me to slip up so they can snap me up again.

... Wow did you ever get displaced. I think you win that one, my date stayed the same at least.

Snap you up? This Division sounds unpleasantly like organized crime.

Yes, twenty four years is quite a bit of time. Though it seems that Nixon was not president in 1985, in this version of Earth. It does answer a few questions, though.

Quite a bit like that, actually. Best form of organized crime ever. Government entity.

Hooboy, yeah, This isn't Kansas any more and these are not the droids you're looking for or something. You doing okay adjusting? I mean, sure it's only been an hour or two, but sometimes you can tell right off when things aren't going to settle.

Best form of organized crime. Ha! I like that.

I'm doing quite well. Knowing that I am not going to be vaporized at any second helps immensely, I think.

I'd like to say it's original to me, but it really ain't. Don't mean it's not true though.

Yeah, I can see how that would put a positive spin on the day, no matter what cropped up.

It certainly is true. Especially the government I remember.

Indeed it is. It brightens my day considerably to see that on some worlds, humanity has survived and even thrived past the point that my world would have fallen.

So this is probably going to be coming totally out of left field, but do you want to go get some coffee or something?

Believe me, after being transported to another world by a tornado, being asked to go out for coffee is absolutely normal.

I would love to. Would you like me to come to London, or would you prefer to come here? Either option is fine by me.

If you're good coming here that would be preferable, not entirely sure I trust the travel system here yet.

That's perfectly understandable. I'll tell you how it goes.

What address should I head to once I make it through this "port key" device?

I'd appreciate that. Hey, if you make it through alright, figure I will too, y'know?

Hang on, new address, have to look it up. [uptown address] That's me. I'm in one of the townhouses off the main complex.

It's no trouble.

Got it. I'll see you soon, Josie.
