Bloody hell, that cavern was disgusting. Whoever thought descending into a pit of sludge and scum would be worth the few treasures we found there was completely buggy.

I did get paid handsomely, however.

Yes, I'm always open to job opportunities. I've got to work it around my schedule with the university, but enlighten me.

What have you got in mind?

It so happens that underneath the streets of Manhattan are tunnels, and normally, that would not be a problem, except this; when crazy weeks happen, sometimes a bloke gets changed an wanders down there... and never changes back.

It also happens that along the way, a Vatican courier, and a good friend of mine were waylaid by people down there. And that the Vatican Courier was carrying a holy item, while my friend carried a valise with documents that could be rather embarrassing to his family should they get out.

It's taken some time, but I have some information on what is down there, and how to find the items. Only thing is, with X-Factor, and my size, tunnel expeditions and me don't mix. But the Vatican will pay a king's ransom for their holy item, and I will pay a pretty penny for the valise or proof it has been destroyed, either.

If that makes you curious enough, we can meet and I can show you what I have on it.

That sounds amenable to me. Quite in the line of my expertise.

Where should you like to meet?

I know a diner on Fifth and Lexington in New York. Serves some mighty fine Joes. I'll bring everything I've got and you can take a look? Say, Saturday?
