A request for assistance
Ah, good afternoon. My name is Constable Benton Fraser, of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. I appear to have somehow inexplicably found myself in London after some frankly very strange meteorological behaviour. I believe I located the Canadian Consulate here in the city, but there appears to be ... something of a problem.

I don't appear to exist.

Well, that's not technically true, since I'm sitting here typing this. What I mean is, I appear to be in possession of someone else's wallet, name and identification, and the Consulate has informed me after some phone calls that I do not even have a position within the RCMP.

Although that does appear to be me on the identification, which is odd in of itself.

And does anybody know precisely why there are random people asking me for my autograph?

I'm not entirely certain how Constable Turnbull could be responsible for a freak meteorological phenomenon, sir.

Fraser, I am often at a loss to explain how Constable Turnbull is responsible for anything beyond simple respiration, and yet there are a number of incidents that are indeed ascribed to his person.

Is the wolf with you?

Frankly, I'm not sure how any individual could influence meteorological phenomena, although Sergeant Frobisher has been known to exert considerable influence on his own fairly immediate environment after a generous portion of moose hock.

If you're referring to Diefenbaker, sir, then yes. And I don't believe he's particularly enthused with the situation, either.

Hopefully Sergeant Frobisher's talents have not taken a sudden twist.

Yes, I was referring to Diefenbaker.

Apparently my doppelganger has been authorised the use of a safehouse not far from here. [Address] What would be your ETA for a rendezvous at that location?

That would be unfortunate, sir.

Given my relative unfamiliarity with the current surroundings, I would have to factor in traffic patterns, weather, and the increasingly likely incidence of my being stopped and asked for photographs.

I'll settle for an estimate with a safety margin.

I would say approximately an hour, sir.

Excellent. I'll be waiting.

And Fraser?

Be careful. As far as I know, you're all that's left of my command.

...

Understood.
