Subject: Scouting for something to do
Who: Robin
Where: The Bridge Theatre
Warnings: TBC
Open to: Nell Abbot and "Harry's gang"

If Robin coughed any more he was sure he was going to lose a lung. His symptoms were apparently resembling a bad cold and so he was walking around the theatre wrapped tightly in a blanket so that he could cure his boredom whilst not risking it getting worse. He'd rested too long, his feet itching to wander, and he eventually found himself backstage. He was excited at the prospect of performing Shakespeare, though if he tried to project his voice right now he'd probably faint. His mother would certainly have something to say about that - she'd scold him and tell him he should know better before having the maid send up some special soup to keep him occupied. Oh what he wouldn't give for some special soup...

As another coughing fit came over him he kept to the shadows in case anyone ordered him back to his room. The last thing he wanted to do was to go back to bed, which was ironic seeing as it was usually what he longed for after a hard day.

"I can already hear some rasping," he said immediately, and pressed his hand to boy's chest. "I can feel it quite prominently too - the thing you have to be careful of is coughing too much. It sounds silly, but there are cases, as I believe... this one is," he said, pressing the back of his hand to the boy's forehead, "in which you can tear something in your chest. Muscle or tissue. It's quite sore and requires extra care, but a bit of honey should ease it. You have to be careful it doesn't become infected too."

Nell had followed them and now he lingered in the doorway watching.
"So he's not going to die, then?" He asked, licking his lips. "I mean, he looked really bad before."

"He's not going to die, no - so long as we keep out infection," Daniel assured the boy. "He is probably tired, a cold can be exhausting and pain and activity during recovery don't help."

"Then a few days in bed would be the best for him? Food, drink and rest?" Harry replied, looking from Robin to the doctor once more. "Or do you recommend something else?"
