Adelaide Newbury- Going for a walk
Subject: Going for a walk
Where: A crowded London street
Who: Adelaide Newbury
Warnings: None, yet
Open to: All

Once again Adelaide had managed to lose her nurses, only this time it had been completely unintentional. The crowded street reminded the young widow of Paris before all the trouble there had started, which in turn reminded her of her dear deceased husband Francis. Her nurses could tell something was wrong as the redhead started looking around frantically. But before any of them could grab her she went tearing off down the street, chasing a man who she did not know. Or at least that's how it looked to them. In her troubled mind she had seen Francis and was now hurrying to catch up with him.

"Monsieur!" she screamed, only a few yards behind him. Suddenly however she tripped over the hem of her dress, throwing her hands out to keep her face from colliding with the stone ground as she fell flat on her stomach. When she finally stood and brushed herself off the man was gone and she suddenly couldn't remember what she had been running after. Nervously she looked around for her nurses.

(I appologize, I was caught up in a move and without internet access for two days to even say I was gone.)

"Tell me," Lucrète said with a slight smirk, "Who are these perfect people you know?"

(It's okay! I completely understand.)

Adelaide did not notice the smirk on the woman's face. "Well, I cannot think of any who are alive anymore," she admitted softly. "But my first husband, he was perfect. And so were my second and my third, Madame," she explained. Or at least, they had been perfect in her opinion. Even when they were beating or controlling her.
