At first Daisy had been reluctant to actually enjoy their latest shore leave but not long after arriving on Risa she'd realized it was just what she needed. It had been far too long since she'd just taken the time to really relax and unwind so she'd been taking advantage of the chance to do just that.

She'd shown up to the bonfire dressed in a bikini with a sarong tied around her waist and she was watching people come and go when she noticed someone headed towards her. A slight smile played over her face as she realized who it was, she'd only spoken to him a few times but it had always been entertaining. Of course there was also the fact he'd gone and come back again which gave her hope that others might do the same.

"Hello, of course I remember you, I never forget the people in charge of the drinks," she said with a slight laugh. "The question is do you remember me?"

"Well, I was sort of a little too wrapped up in my own problems to try sleeping with anybody so don't take it personally," Daisy said with a laugh. It was only fairly recently that she'd crossed that line with anyone on board and even then it was only something incredibly casual. "Do you mean it's too small to sleep with lots of people or too small to not get to know everyone better? Because I think there are people that would argue both points."

She smiled back at him, sort of impressed that he remembered as much as he did. "Yep, that's me. I like to try new things and sometimes I fancy a change from my usual, it makes things interesting." She took a sip of her drink as she took a moment to look him up and down, maybe she should have tried to sleep with him before because she had to admit he was easy on the eyes.

"Well then let me apologize for offending you. And go on to say that it's my loss clearly because anyone can see that you're attractive." Daisy didn't see any reason not to just come out and say it, the suit certainly helped, she may have a small weakness for attractive men in fine tailored suits.

"I think there's a reason Starfleet usually has regulations against crew fraternization and it's probably that," Daisy commented. "Yeah, that's never easy to deal with." Not that she'd had any experience of that herself but she could see how it wouldn't be easy at all.

"It's good to have you back, the lounge wasn't the same without you," she told him. "And I've got to agree that this is a very good version of paradise. Much better than anything I've experienced before."

"Oh good, I'd hate to have offended you for all eternity," Daisy said with an easy smile. "Holding a grudge takes too much energy really."

She leaned back a little as she watched him sip his drink, not even trying to hide the fact she was staring at him and taking him in. "Huh? Oh, you thought I meant Heaven? No, I just meant a lot of place say they're paradise but they don't always live up to the name. If I die I'm fairly certain I'm going to Hell for some of the things I've done."

"You should definitely get another round of drinks for this and make sure they're strong," she told him as she finished the drink she had in her hand. She rarely talked about her past but maybe it'd do her good to get it all out. "I'm gonna trust you to get something good."

Daisy watched him leave with their glasses and return with new drinks. She'd asked for stronger, she just hoped it wasn't so strong she wouldn't be able to walk later.

"Just how strong is this drink?" she asked, tentatively taking a sip and finding it at least tasted good. "Do you want just like a bullet pointed list or my life history because that could take a while and I'd hate to keep your attention all to myself for the rest of the evening. Well, maybe I wouldn't but... I'm going to stop talking there."

"I guess we'll see," she said, smiling a little at the sight of his grin which was a little distracting if she was honest. "Well, I've been wanted by the government a few times so I'd say a fair bit of trouble. I don't talk about my past much, tend to keep it locked away but that's not healthy so right place, right time or something like that."

She took another sip of the drink, trying to decide where to start listing things. "Let's see. I hacked a government agency to try and find out the truth about my birth parents. I betrayed my team for my boyfriend at the time who ended up becoming an ex very soon after because he was a sellout. Uh, I told someone to try harder to kill themselves, not my proudest moment. I ended up polluting the world with terrigen that meant a lot of Inhumans transformed without any support and as a result were either captured or killed by various parties. I nearly helped destroy life as we know it in my world but my boyfriend sacrificed himself to save everyone. I'm sure there's more that I'm not remembering."

Daisy wasn't even sure if he'd been listening as she talked, it wouldn't be the first time she poured her heart out only to find that the person hadn't been listening to a word she said. But then he went and surprised her by actually responding and actually asking her a question.

"Did I find what? Oh, you mean the truth about my parents? Yeah but in some ways I think I was better off not knowing. I mean when your own mother tries to kill you it gives you some serious issues and when you already have issues the one thing you don't need is more."

"Yeah, that makes sense. My own father kinda went mad and killed a lot of people," Daisy added. She'd not really spoken about her parents with anyone, she'd locked it all away and pretended like it hadn't happened, just like she locked everything away.

"She tried to suck the life out of me, she could take the life force from others to heal herself. I was trying to stop her from killing millions and she decided to try and kill me, she would have done it too if my father hadn't have stopped her." She took a large drink, wanting to ignore the pain the memory brought with it, maybe talking about this hadn't been a good idea.

Daisy could feel herself getting more upset as she thought about everything that had happened, the drink wasn't really helping so she drank some more. "She cared about me but she cared about our people more. I was standing in the way of her plans so she was going to remove me from the equation."

She glanced up at him, hoping she didn't look as upset as she felt. "She's dead, my father had to kill her to get her to stop. He crushed her chest and he couldn't live with the memory of killing the only woman he'd ever loved so he had his memories erased, all of them including those of me so he doesn't even know who I am, I'm just a stranger to him. I went from believing I was an unwanted orphan to having two parents and then back to being unwanted again in the space of a couple of months. It's really fucked up."

In some ways it was kinda freeing to just put it all out there and not have someone immediately turn sympathetic to her plight. She hated having people's pity but that didn't seem to be a problem with Lucifer.

"I'm not normal, I'm just really good at faking it," she told him, draining the rest of her drink. "Fake it until you make it, I mean that's the saying. I'm messed up, I drink way too much and I make poor life choices. If that's normal then maybe I am but I really don't feel like it."

"Oh, yeah, I guess you would," Daisy replied with a weak smile. "Sometimes I do the drink too much and bad life choices as a combo, those are always good times."

She laughed at herself, honestly it sounded pathetic and she knew it did. "I would love another," she said, offering him her empty glass. "Maybe something stronger this time?"

"I'm barely drunk, I'm fine but I appreciate the concern," Daisy said, flashing him a smile that didn't quite reach her eyes. "It's not like I'm so drunk I'm throwing myself at the first tall, dark, and handsome man to talk to me."
