Jory. It had been far easier to decide on that, than she would have thought it would be. Granted, they had been going through this baby name book for a couple of weeks now, ticking off things that they liked, even though nothing had really jumped out at them. Vivian had been very flexible with her hours spent at the mansion recently, her boss understood that she had a very limited time frame to plan everything in, before the baby would be here. So long as Juniper didn't leave the mansion in a total and complete wreck, she didn't have any problem with her ducking out early, and running a few errands. Today it had been buying things for the babies room. Mostly paint, and a bit of fabric to get an idea of what she wanted. Victoria had shown interest in wanting to pain a mural, and honestly, she thought it would be an adorable touch for her little boys room, to have something to look at growing up, and know that his aunt painted that for him. Who could resist that? Not her. So, she had spent more than a couple of hours having little sample cans of paint mixed up at the store. Cans which were now weighing down the box she had perched on her hip, as she struggled to get the front door unlocked. "Lucy... I'm HOME!" She called, glancing around into the house. It was dark, quiet. Victoria must not have gotten home yet.

Nudging the door closed behind her, she moved swiftly into the room that was going to be the nursery. The walls had been stripped off all of the mirrors, the holes had been patched over, now it was just waiting for a few coats of paint. "Yellow. Yellow for sure." She set the box of paint on the floor, placing her hands on her hips, before finally turning to exit the room. Cal would be here soon, and there was a good chance that Victoria would be coming home this evening as well. Since moving in, they had been able to spend quite a lot of time together in the mornings, and evenings. On most late nights, she was usually at the mansion with Cal. The whole arrangement was still strange to her. Before, they had lived under the same roof, and had just been able to go to another floor if they wanted to talk. Now it required one of them to actually leave, and make the drive. Then there was the issue of Cal only being active at night, it limited things so much. Far more than she would have thought, there were so many things she had taken for granted. Like going down to the park together in the afternoons, and stretching out along the river for brunch, and a bit of making out. Yes, there was always making out. This was why they were having a kid. Never again would they take a cruise to Croatia, spend all day on the deck of the boat, swimming in the ocean together. Being a vampire was sort of a bummer, but it was still better than the alternative.

Reaching down, she lifted one foot, and unbuckled her shoe, before then doing the same to the other. After dropping them off in her bedroom, she made a quick stop into the living room, flipping on her music player, the whole house filling with the sounds of Sway. Now barefoot, she padded back into the nursery, squatting down to shift through her box of supplies, pulling out one of those oh so hand drop clothes, and then stretching it out to cover most of the hard wood floor. Until someone arrived, she thought she might as well make herself useful. Just hanging around doing nothing wasn't her style, she couldn't stand to be still for long. So, it was no surprise when she poured the pale yellow paint into a pan, coated her roller with it, and went to work spreading it over one wall to start. Yup, yellow was the right way to go.
