Who: Marcus & Juniper
What: Hey, it's been a while. Or: A werecat, a werewolf, enough food to feed a party of six.
Where: A restaurant serving cuisine from all over the world.
When: Around lunch time.

Between dealing with the London crowd's issues, his own recurring monthly issues, the issues the police seemed to be having with him, certain misconceptions some people seemed to be having about him and an acquaintance of his, and flat-hunting, Marcus hadn't really had time for anything else. It was only after he'd unpacked all of his stuff at his new place, coming across a crumpled note Juniper had given him back when they'd first met, that he realised he hadn't heard from the redhead in quite some time.

Ever since she'd saved him from getting beaten with a cane by a very enraged old woman - a misunderstanding caused by his rather limited knowledge of the Dutch language - during his first week in town and helped him find his way around, they'd become... friends? It wasn't a word that Marcus used very frequently. More often than not it sat in the pile of unusable words of his vocabulary, atrophying, but it seemed to fit the werecat so 'friends' it was. Did he like her? Well, yes. She was a friendly young woman and possibly the only redhead he'd ever met who hadn't got him into serious trouble later on. Small miracles did exist, after all.

A handful of text messages later, they agreed to meet for lunch. Marcus' treat at a place he'd picked as he seemed determined to try out every single food-serving place in Amsterdam before the year was over. It wasn't one of those fancy places that served tiny bits on oversized plates - Marcus avoided those like the plague - had a very impressive menu and the patrons were the kind that minded their own business. Seated by a window table, he studied their specials while he waited for Juniper to arrive.
