WHAT Milo is still trying to deal with this whole new development in his insanity when a spirit beckons him.

( And who would want to sex up the old geezer anyway? If this was his imagination working overtime he hoped he would have made some December-Professor at least Sean Connery like )

Who: Holt and Zinny (Bragi and Iounn)

Holt had spent time away from the ICU since bringing Zinny to the hospital on Saturday, but he didn't like it. It looked bad for him to lurk. People were gossiping, despite Ash promising to help dispel some rumors. Now people just thought Zinny was a babysitter AND his lover. Somehow that made things worse.

He'd forced himself to leave and only checked in on Zinny when she was alone and he was actually on shift with an excuse to be at the hospital. She was always sleeping, but it comforted him to be in her presence.

Tonight, he headed up to her room on his break. He had a few hours because it was a very long shift, and it was late enough that he hoped her father wouldn't be around. Holt took his 'lunch' with him as well as a book he'd picked up at the library earlier in the day that was all about Norse myth. If Zinny was sleeping, he could just sit there and read and eat.
