This weekend was going to be an interesting one. Mary was looking forward to it. She had been attending Mass every Sunday since they’d arrived almost together with Anne Boleyn, something which Mary was respecting more and more each time they went. She was coming to know Anne on a more personal level, rather than just the whore that her father had married and divorced her mother for. She still wasn’t sure if she could ever forgive her for what was done to her mother, but she also knew that a good part of it was done because of Anne’s family, not just herself.
Dressed literally in her Sunday best, Mary chose to wear a dress of deep red with gold stitchings on the side of it. Red was the color to wear this time of the year, if one was traditional enough. Besides, it was one of the dresses that she had from her own time, one that looked completely proper. Her hair was done in the traditional style: long and straight, perfectly combed. Her face had no make up, as it was expected to praise the Lord more so than anything else this day.
She had advised the group to meet at her apartment the morning of their gathering for Church, so now Mary waited for the first ones to arrive. She was excited and nervous, both. Anders was a new friend who was going to be meeting everyone, including herself in person, for the first time. This concept alone was strange to Mary, that one could be close to someone without even meeting them personally. She was also going to meet Anne’s friend, Ben Kenobi, she’d called him. And their great uncle would be there, as well. It was going to be an interesting Easter Sunday.

Anders had spent the better part of Saturday desperately attempting to keep himself distracted. He was incredibly restless, to the point of being unable to focus on more than one task at a time. Now that he had settled in a bit in this new world, he could feel Justice’s impatience, which only seemed to grow every day.
But he didn’t want to think about it. There were no mages here to protect, no templars to fight. Right now, he was thinking about what he was supposed to do when he got to “mass,” whatever that was. As far as he had read -- which, honestly, hadn’t been too much before he got distracted -- it seemed their god wasn’t too far off their own. He was only known as “God” and instead of a prophetess, he had a son named Jesus that saved mankind.
Weird, yes, but not as weird as the clothing he was staring at. He supposed it made sense to have less in the way of armour but...surely this wasn’t warm enough for winter, even given the technology these people had. In the end, Anders had settled with what the woman in the shop had recommended, and made his way to where Lady Mary had told him to go. He assumed the girl standing in front of the apartment, and he slowed his pace as he approached.
“Lady Mary?” he asked, tentatively. “I’m Anders.”

Mary turned slowly as she heard the other voice nearby. She smiled softly, curtseying gratefully in recognition of this person beside her, then rose properly in greeting. “Hello, Anders. It’s an honour to meet you,” she greeted politely. “I must admit that it’s quite strange to be meeting someone that I’ve already spoken to. And thank you, Anders, for accompanying me today.”
She paused, taking in his appearance and everything. He looked quite different from many, but his attire seemed to be appropriate for the day and it seemed to fit in with everything. “Do you have any questions about the Mass that we will be attending today before the others arrive, Anders?” she asked politely, not wanting to make her guest feel uncomfortable by any means.
