I don't know what the old Order did. I feel like the new Jedi Order, the one my uncle built, is more, I mean within limits, by there have been a number of people who have failed in tasks that are still a part of the order.

But yeah, I'm getting challenges here.

But if your Order is similar to my own, it tenets are a pre-ordained word. Who are we to tamper with tradition and law?

Yeah, but there's the Jedi code which is pretty simple. And then there's all the other stuff. And a lot of it was lost when the Emperor ordered the destruction of the Jedi and the Jedi archives and all of those things. Uncle Luke has pieced things back, but it's been by necessity different and lacking in the traditions because knowledge of them has been slow building.

Besides which, is knowledge of anything closed? If new things come to light might it not change what has been considered traditionally true in the past?
