Really? Huh. Wonder if something weird like that's happened back home. Lots of people with powers, but like no one just walks up to 'em and asks how they got 'em. The powers is the important part and all.

No, it's me. There was this glass-shattering (literally) scream and I was pretty close to it and my ears haven't stopped ringing. I guess I can see if they go away tomorrow but if not, I can swing by?

Yeah, come by the clinic if it's not gone in the morning. In the meantime, no loud noises, keep music volumes low and no headphones, no caffeine, alcohol, or nicotine.

A sprained wrist and a little acute tinnitus in the space of a week would make the best of us want to stay in bed in the morning. Add in the holidays (and exposure to the shopping hoards, which I will never understand why anyone risks voluntarily), and I doubt if I'd want to go outside for the rest of the month.

But how are you feeling?

I've had a tough week, yeah. The shopping part was just a cheer-me-up thing.

I'm not experiencing vertigo and vomiting, so that's something.
