I have a bed! I made it exist. It looks like gran's mostly. Except the blanket was all wrong, feathers on the outside not the in. They're cleaned up now, and I'm going to bring one over until I make one right side out. The walls are a warm orange color, and the carpet's got some patterns to it. There's no window yet, but I've been focusing on the bed.

Did you know I covered two sections a while go for most of a shift because a boss man from a video game kidnapped a waitress? That's a new one. But she wasn't scared or nothing. So I didn't stop him.

	Focusing on the bed is absolutely fine considering we spend about a third of our day in it. Last time I was excited to have my own bed was when I got here. (Reply to this) (Thread)

	Before coming here, I definitely was not spending a third of my day in bed. I've been excited to have a routine again not interrupted by everything going to shit. But this bed is better than the one in the tower. That was a bed, and this one's my bed. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	I didn't really have my own. I was on the road most of the time. But you put this one together yourself. You obviously have a right to feel pride over it. 	I haven't stayed in hotels much or anywhere on the road. I personalized my room in Potts Tower some, but it usually takes years to give a room real memories. 	There's a huge difference between the Potts Tower bedroom and... one that you created from scratch yourself. Sookie: Believe me I wasn't pleased either and despite the fact that it would have been nice to start over... not when I needed to make sure Emma and the others were safe. 	That's the nice kind of power. Sookie: Starting from scratch? Not really sure. I'd like to undo several selfish actions I had done in my life but I don't think I'd go so far as to turn myself into a kid again. I don't want to undo things or redo things. Sure, there's things I wish I could change, but life doesn't work like that. They've happened, and they're a part of me. I don't think we become better people by changing what we did. We can change what we do now. That selfish decision of yours was part of becoming the person who makes selfless ones. But I think it's really sweet of you that what you want to change is to help other people more.
