I had to tell my (ex???) girlfriend from home that we're not together here. Again. If I know her at all, she's really upset, but I don't know what else I'm supposed to do. How do you explain that you've been here for almost ten months and a majority of the time we were with other people instead of each other, and that things could have been different several months ago if the person you were engaged to wasn't also here? (I know you'll just say, "well just say that," TJ, but I wanted to put it nicely and I think I sucked at that.) One day, this'll get easier. One day.

Right?

	Reality is it won't get easier, but that's kind of what makes life awesome. You know what you should do, especially if you want to try and make things work with her. 	No, I know what I want. It just hurts to know I'm hurting her in any way. But what we had before, we can't have that here the way things are right now. I told her I wasn't going to get in the middle of her and Xavin, and I won't. We'll have our time back home. Yeah, I kind of caused some issues when K was here last time, because I forced her to tell Xavin about us before it got to her from someone else and made it look worse, like we were keeping secrets or going behind her back, and I admitted I was worried that Xavin would come after me, and she was worried it'd be really bad, so that made me even more worried... anyway, you get the point. So I really don't want to be in the middle of that again.

That is totally a sucky situation to be in, and it's not fair to you or her. It's not your fault you've moved on because she chose Xavin every time before. And aren't you dating a cute girl? But even if you weren't, if you don't want to get involved in that, then that's your call. I got your back. And for telling her? I'm really bad with lying or saying things the right way, and I'm pretty sure I've been topping myself for saying things badly lately. It's probably just polite to say things might have worked out under different circumstances, but these ones it's a no go.

God, I have no idea what I'd do if Tyler showed up.

Yeah, I'm really bad at lying too. I feel so guilty. But that's what I was trying to go for. I don't know if it worked, but I tried. I'm really happy with Nilin, and I'm not going to dump her for anyone, but especially not to put myself into that sort of triangle where I'll just end up getting passed over for someone she loves more. We're going to have our time later. And it sucks to have to put that aside, but that's what's best for all of us here, for me to step aside and let them have their time without me interfering in any of this, because she deserves the chance and she deserves to be happy.
