I believe that the Jedi were deeply mistaken, and they ignored their fact that they were themselves attached to the Order and the Code and the Republic. I always felt like a hypocrite trying to teach my padawan not to have attachments knowing that I have plenty and would not easily give them up. My attachments to people give my life meaning.

But they can also bring pain. Is that why Snoke deemed it weakness?

Possibly. ~~He thought they were your weakness~~ I don't know exactly. He always cautioned against them, said they could destroy my chance to restore the galaxy to greatness.

I thought if I rid myself of ones that it would help make me stronger, but I don't think it worked, exactly, and... I just wondered.

I don't have many. I try to avoid them. And I've never been good with people so that makes it easier. But I guess there are still ones that I have.
