I understand that this world, for its previous inhabitants, must feel very different and strange and I hope this is not insensitive to say, but: I think this is my favorite world I've visited so far, and I will be very sad to leave.

I am trying very hard to see all of it, but it is oh so very tempting to stay the whole rest of the time in Lake Country. The things they can do with flowers is incredible. I have spent so much money on blossom wine and perfume (followed very closely by clothing, not just from here). Not to mention the parades! The acrobats! I want so much more time to spend here.

It is a very good amount of time. And it is also the length of time that I've been back in a relationship with my now-husband, so it has been a wonderful two years.

You will get used to it, if you want to. I resisted getting used to it, in the sense of wanting to stay, for awhile. I think that's normal, too.

That's wonderful, congratulations.

I don't mind the adventure, I'm used to traveling, it's staying stagnant that I problems with.

Thank you, it's been quite wonderful.

Stagnancy is difficult for me as well, although I would argue one can live in a single place and not grow stagnant. I love traveling, but I love my city very much and did not resent being stuck there. Hardly ever, anyway.

What is your husband's name?

London is nice, right now it's easier to stay away. Though I am curious to know how similar this world's London is to my own. Is there even a Croft

Alucard; that's him just down below. Isn't he pretty?

All I can tell you is that the London back in the same world as Tumbleweed is indeed in the country England. You could go and explore when we get back.

He is, you two are very cute together.

I just might do that.

Why thank you, darling. Do you have anyone here with you? Family, friend, lover?

There is much traveling to be had back in Tumbleweed, within the same world. Many among us have magical ways of traveling and are willing to share it for a very affordable price. It's also much quicker and more pleasant than the planes.

No. [...] It's just me.

That would certainly come in handy, plane tickets can get expensive.

I'm sorry. If it is any comfort, the portal does have a habit of bringing people we miss. Not predictably, but often.

They are quite a bit more expensive and take quite a bit more time. Alucard and I enjoy sailing, which takes even longer, but the journey is part of the joy. For everything else I generally prefer the various methods of teleportation.

That's alright. It's better I suppose in time we'll see if it brings anyone I know.

I think these days sailing is definitely for people who want to joy the journey, not just to get from one place to another. Teleportation would be interesting to try.

You can also make friends here. You can count me as one.

Have you ever been sailing? I had been on a boat but never a sailor. Now I am quite experienced, thanks to Alucard. I haven't got the magic power for teleportation, alas.

Thank you, Rhy. You can count me as a friend as well.

Not sailing, no. It's alright, I don't have magic at all.

I would like that very much, Lara. Not to worry, I don't judge my friends based on magical talent. I didn't marry Alucard for his magical prowess either, though he is quite gifted.

You'll have to come and see our boat when we get back. The Besame. Do you speak Spanish?

Magic is pretty impressive.

I'd love to. Si, that is a good name for a boat.

Darling, we're gorgeous.

What's on your list for things you must do? Must because you want to, not simple obligation. Because then we'd be discussing laundry.

My apologies, you are, yes.

While we're here? I'm not sure what else I want to do. I've done rock climbing, I've been on a few tours, their river walks, and I went camping for a couple of nights out at the Lake Country.

We are both, gorgeous and cute. We're spectacular that way.

Sailed through the planet? Tried new foods? Explored areas of cultural significance?

But I also meant more generally, pulled out of our own times and places.

I can see that.

I have tried new foods and definitely explored. Exploring is in my blood.

Ah, I'm not sure if I have a list of things I must do. Not yet, anyway.

The next time we host one of our parties, you should come.

You are in a good place for exploring. There's always something or someplace new.

It's fun to have goals. But I've not ever been the best at sitting idly by while enjoying life.

I would like that.

It's been a great experience.

I'll just have to see what life in Tumbleweed is like. I'll have to find a place to live, and possibly get a job unless my finances came alone with me. I'll probably start traveling again once I get the rest figured out.

The pleasure is ours.

We both arrived ourselves on an earlier cruise. It's something to travel here... while this place travels.

So far as I know, that depends to some extent on how your finances are held. Banks accounts haven't seemed to come with, but people often have some form of housing show up. And whatever is in the house... tada. And the portal has been kind in providing money about once a year which eases some financial burden. Still, there is a lot to sort out.

Interesting, I wonder if my home will be waiting for me. Does it? That's awfully nice of the portal.
