I understand that this world, for its previous inhabitants, must feel very different and strange and I hope this is not insensitive to say, but: I think this is my favorite world I've visited so far, and I will be very sad to leave.

I am trying very hard to see all of it, but it is oh so very tempting to stay the whole rest of the time in Lake Country. The things they can do with flowers is incredible. I have spent so much money on blossom wine and perfume (followed very closely by clothing, not just from here). Not to mention the parades! The acrobats! I want so much more time to spend here.

It is a decent sized town in the middle of a relative desert. Are you at all familiar with Texas?

I can imagine how it would be reassuring. Grief is a terrible thing.

I've always longed to travel and indeed, to see other worlds. This is not how I expected to do it, but it is an answer to my wishes.

I've been through there, but I wouldn't say I'm an expert on the area.

It is.

Sometimes good things can happen when you aren't expecting it. And bad I'm glad you have your chance to travel.

I imagine you'll settle in well, then. I'd never been, but I figured it out. I can show you around when we get back if you like.

Indeed, there are many good things that have happened to me here, and traveling to new and completely unexpected worlds is simply one of them. How has this place been for you so far?

That's kind of you, I appreciate it.

I've enjoyed myself. The ship is incredible, I have a few friends back home that would be jealous, and the fact that we're on Naboo. The sites have been wonderful and I've enjoyed learning more about the different cultures here.

You're quite welcome. My name is Rhy.

The cruise ships are all unique and very interesting. I arrived on a ship on the sea, and there was also an airship. This is the most advanced technology I've seen so far. And space! Space is incredible. And a bit daunting. Is it the ship or space that your friends would be jealous about?

I'm Lara.

Really? Sounds like you've been away from home for quite some time. Both, and being on a different planet. The technology is incredible, you're right. There are so many stars, it's almost overwhelming.

It's a pleasure to meet you, Lara.

Yes, it's been two years as of the beginning of this month. My worlds operates on magic, so even the less advanced technology amazed me when I first arrived. Now I am more used to it, but still appreciative. And oh, you're so right, the stars are amazing.

Likewise, Rhy.

Two years. That's a good amount of time. I've been told I'll get used to all of this after a while.

It is a very good amount of time. And it is also the length of time that I've been back in a relationship with my now-husband, so it has been a wonderful two years.

You will get used to it, if you want to. I resisted getting used to it, in the sense of wanting to stay, for awhile. I think that's normal, too.

That's wonderful, congratulations.

I don't mind the adventure, I'm used to traveling, it's staying stagnant that I problems with.

Thank you, it's been quite wonderful.

Stagnancy is difficult for me as well, although I would argue one can live in a single place and not grow stagnant. I love traveling, but I love my city very much and did not resent being stuck there. Hardly ever, anyway.

What is your husband's name?

London is nice, right now it's easier to stay away. Though I am curious to know how similar this world's London is to my own. Is there even a Croft

Alucard; that's him just down below. Isn't he pretty?

All I can tell you is that the London back in the same world as Tumbleweed is indeed in the country England. You could go and explore when we get back.

I just might do that.

Why thank you, darling. Do you have anyone here with you? Family, friend, lover?

There is much traveling to be had back in Tumbleweed, within the same world. Many among us have magical ways of traveling and are willing to share it for a very affordable price. It's also much quicker and more pleasant than the planes.

No. [...] It's just me.

That would certainly come in handy, plane tickets can get expensive.

I'm sorry. If it is any comfort, the portal does have a habit of bringing people we miss. Not predictably, but often.

They are quite a bit more expensive and take quite a bit more time. Alucard and I enjoy sailing, which takes even longer, but the journey is part of the joy. For everything else I generally prefer the various methods of teleportation.

That's alright. It's better I suppose in time we'll see if it brings anyone I know.

I think these days sailing is definitely for people who want to joy the journey, not just to get from one place to another. Teleportation would be interesting to try.

Darling, we're gorgeous.

What's on your list for things you must do? Must because you want to, not simple obligation. Because then we'd be discussing laundry.

My apologies, you are, yes.

While we're here? I'm not sure what else I want to do. I've done rock climbing, I've been on a few tours, their river walks, and I went camping for a couple of nights out at the Lake Country.

We are both, gorgeous and cute. We're spectacular that way.

Sailed through the planet? Tried new foods? Explored areas of cultural significance?

But I also meant more generally, pulled out of our own times and places.

I can see that.

I have tried new foods and definitely explored. Exploring is in my blood.

Ah, I'm not sure if I have a list of things I must do. Not yet, anyway.
