[Posted Early in the morning, not long after this scene takes place]

Shit, okay, so Tony had a memory upgrade and with it a horrible injury. Stab wound by a large blade, piercing all the way through his abdomen, coming out the other side. Internal organs are likely to be damaged. Tony's got his nanotech to close the wound and stop the bleeding, but he needs immediate medical attention. We don't want to take him to a local hospital, because how the hell are we going to explain this?

This is a real emergency, we need immediate help. I'm freaking out here

No, he's not. Don't make me regret waking you up.

Shut up Tony, I'm not listening to you right now. Why the hell don't you want to be helped?

Stark to Stark, how bad is it really?

The wound is the least of my problems.

Right now I'm not sure if you're talking about the memory upgrade or the worry committee.

Both. Unfortunately, only one of them is avoidable.

Want to vent or should I just bring you one of my projects to look at as a distraction?

Vent? I think we both know I want to internalize everything until it results in poor decision making that ultimately bites me in the ass. As a methodology, it's worked so well for so long, why mess with a good thing?

Avoiding the splitting headache from your friends yelling at you would be one benefit. Hold on, trying to think of others.

Also, ok, yeah, least of the worries, but that stab wound. Scale of one to ten excluding those more important worries.

7.5? I've got nanotech holding me together, applied seconds, maybe a minute after it happened. I think It'll hold. Might even act as a healing aid. Of course, it might not. Hasn't been tested quite like this.

That's not so bad. Says the worst judge of badly injured ever. But I can give you a second opinion tech wise when I get there. Correction, I will be giving you a second opinion tech wise. To help with the worrying peanut gallery. Granted, who knows what the actual doctor's opinion will be, but I've never been a fan of those.

Could have been worse. I'm fairly certain it's missed any vital organs, though it wouldn't have been pretty if I hadn't been prepared.

Still waiting on an actual doctor's opinion. Dr. Seven PhDs is missing an M.D.

I mean, damaging vital organs is so five years ago and we can't go repeating ourselves, right? But score one for being prepared.

Luckily for you (or unlucky), there's a doctor in tow. And, ok, ok, but why would anyone put themselves through seven PhDs and not just toss an MD in there?

I looked her up. You're bringing me a medical examiner? Is that some kind of bullshit wishful thinking, or what?

It's either her or the elf. Unless you got more applicants I haven't seen yet.

But hey, plus side, she can definitely reassure everyone that you are not in fact dead.

We're living in the dumping grounds of the multiverse, and somehow an elf and a medical examiner are my only hope?

You're not the first person that's pointed out my striking resemblance to Leia.
