I met this girl who is really kind of amazing when we were on the Cruise and we started hanging out more and more. Her name is Marceline. I don't know if [...] Murphy's mentioned her or not, I know they've hung out before. ~~I don't like it.~~ Anyway, we started dating when we were in the Enchanted Forest port and so it's been a few months now. She's on a different sleep schedule than me though so I spend a lot of my nights trying to see her since she's asleep when I'm at school.

They didn't seem to realize I was gone when we got back. I wasn't dropped from any of my classes and I'm thinking I'm going to make it out with over a 3.0 for the semester. I think. And I've signed up for some summer classes that are one night a week just so I can keep practicing with my sketches.

The farm is going well. Everything's coming in at this point so there is plenty to harvest. And I've been staying in my barn on occasion but I still technically live with Emma. And the dog my brothers and sister had as a nurse showed up when we got all those presents. She's still massive but I don't think I could ride her the way Michael used to when we were kids.

And I don't know how to reach out to people when I feel like they don't want to talk to me so I could have probably done better but the last thing we talked about was things I don't feel comfortable telling most people. And then crickets.

So.

I just felt like maybe I wasn't useful to you anymore since you and Murphy made up. I didn't like that feeling.

I don't know how to reach out to people either, so I guess we're kind of screwed as friendship goes. I appreciate what you told me, it's special.

It wasn't that you weren't useful to me once I made up with Murphy. We're not really... like other couples. We're kind of super attached to each other. It's gonna be ugly if we ever break up.

And when we got back from the cruise, I wanted to set up shop with Annie. I've been doing a lot of wood working. I haven't been sleeping much, either.

And since you told me something you're not comfortable telling people, I'll tell you something I'm not comfortable telling people. When we got back from the cruise I got into my stash of morphling and started taking it to try and sedate myself. Annie and Murphy worked together to throw it out, get it away from me. So that has been a problem. Haven't been sleeping.

I still want you to be my friend. Katniss doesn't really talk to me, especially now that Gale's around, but I don't think we need her to be friends.

It isn't really okay if that was what it was but I'll forgive you. [...] I mean it was super ugly when you thought you broke up so I don't doubt that.

Is that going well for you two? There's definitely a market for that kind of stuff in this town.

What is morphling?

I'm okay with being friends. Have you tried talking to Katniss? And, no, we don't. She wasn't why I ~~liked you~~ wanted to be around you.

I hung out with you because you asked me to. Like I said, I don't really hang out with people. Unless they invite me, and even then I'm not that great at it. I didn't use you. ~~Though the fact that Murphy doesn't like you did help me feel better~~

It's all right. I've mostly been making gifts for people in the past couple of weeks. Selina, Katniss... Annie's birthday's today but I bought her something.

Morphling is a pain killer and it's really addictive. When I was in the hospital, I got hooked on it. It was one of the reasons I couldn't train, that and the rain. Then they flooded the training area and I was fucking toast.

No, I haven't tried talking to Katniss. When Murphy and I first started dating, I told him I was in love with Katniss. And he told her. So I don't know where we are right now.

No, we don't need her.

I've got a painting for Annie. I did a seashell this time. I tend to stick to nautical stuff when it comes to her or the Odairs.

I was going to carve her a seashell jewelry box but I have some orders at the store to finish. So I bought her a couple things.

I was taking the morphling because it felt good.

He told her. But I also told Raven something about him he didn't want her to know. But I'm not in love with Katniss anymore. It was something else. It was... I was obsessed with her.

She was my friend. But she doesn't remember that. We were in the hospital together, she helped me train. She brought me pine needles to remind me of home. She doesn't remember any of that.

Oh. Then, it's probably good they were trying to help you. That's hard to deal with though. People do a lot of things they shouldn't to feel good.

You have to put in the work if you want your friend, Johanna. It isn't her fault she doesn't remember. You could tell her. She's got enough love for everyone so I'm sure she'd want to have you as a friend again.

	I'm still kind of mad at them about it. It helped me sleep. I didn't know he didn't want me to tell her but it was kind of embarrassing so I should have known better. I was in love with her. I feel weird talking to her now with Murphy in my life. I made her some little wooden deer for her birthday. I didn't leave a card, but she probably knew it was me. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	I do like sleep. But I hate doctors more. He asked me one night if I could love someone besides Katniss. I think he told her because he was jealous. But it wasn't like I was ashamed of it. He sounds jealous. And there's nothing to be ashamed of.

Do you really think forgetting about it is going to work? I think it's better to figure out what you felt and work through it. That way it isn't lingering. Admitting how you feel doesn't mean you are negating your other relationships. Emotions are too tricky to work that way.
