The easiest method is to use existing doors and link them. Steve will walk through a doorway here, but not be able to come back the way he came.

Link up a second set of doorways that you'll know about, and you can bring him back. Disable the connection once you're done.

You just have to figure out which doorway to trick him to go through and make sure no one else steps through on accident.
