	I'm not sure I'd call it just that. Sure, being able to control when people come and go would be a hopeful, eventual outcome, but right now it's more getting a better understanding of the portal and being able to even just properly measure and predict its whims is more the level we're at right now. 	Trust me, if I could do that, well, for one we wouldn't be in Texas, but mainly, there'd be a lot more people living in my house right now. Time. Better access to the portal room in the base. Coming back here was a big set back with what ended up happening to the military here. A lot of the data and research was lost because of that time malfunction. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	You might check with the folks at the base and see if they are making any progress with file recovery. My buddy Bruce is seeing if he can make heads or tails of some corrupted files he came across. You got a lot of experience with this sort of thing? (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)
