So I have a drinking problem. I realize this. Normally it's not an issue because most of the time, it doesn't really make a dent in my inhibitions, but things changed when we got access to unlimited amounts of alcohol and the elf wine. I drink to cope with other issues that I'm having. That doesn't help those issues or make them better, it just makes me forget them for awhile. Most of the time, it makes them worse.

After my behavior at the party last night and the way I woke up this morning, someone helped me realize I needed to do better for the people that I consider friends and family, as well as myself. So I'm going to actively work on this, to try to stop drinking.

I'm not going to be at Team America house while I work on drying out. I'm going to remove all the booze I have hidden away in my room and the public areas, but I won't touch anything that doesn't belong to me or is in your bedrooms.

I don't know how long this is going to take, but I wanted to give you the head's up.

	No, I get that, but my ability to handle social situations is kind of shot. That's why I'm staying with Trish right now, so I can take a few days to figure out what I need to do now without worrying about offending anyone or saying the wrong thing. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)
