I woke up this morning with a cat on my face.

In my bed.

In my house that should be at the bottom of the Pacific.

To the soothing voice of J.A.R.V.I.S.

The improbability of each of these facts is staggering, and yet here we are, as if the last four years had never happened. I can live with that. But the cat is another thing entirely.

Nah, whole new flavor. Far as I know, it's only me here now since Ava, but it's got a lot of the same people. Simmons stopped by the Academy back home for some training and you're 'round too, doing the whole Iron Man and company shit. If my Amadeus or Pete were here, they could talk your ear off 'bout all the details. It all just sounds like gibberish to me.

Yeah mostly. It's weird the shit that just stays the same across all the universes, but then you'll like get big differences that just put you for a spin.

Like you're the Tony Stark from the world where Peter Parker's even younger than me, yeah?

Parker still being 15 is pretty headspinny. Yeah, I remember him being that twitchy and all, but it's weird to see him just go back to that when that was like 5 years ago.

Less twitchy, but he's got some years to mellow out and get used to life compared to yours. Plus more friends to help him out including SHIELD, but our SHIELD seems to be cuddlier than others.

I'm not sure that mellow is in this kid's vocabulary. He's always turned up to 11. Yeah, cuddly is not a word I would use to describe SHIELD. Coulson, on the other hand...

Bro, with how twitch yours is, he can mellow and still be turned up to 11. It ain't like mine's jumpy, but he doesn't look like he's gonna have a panic attack if the wrong person says hi to him.
