	We're going to need to keep an eye on him. I mean, I can appreciate him hating hospitals and refusing medical treatment, but my conscious is going nuts because the likelihood that he'll die on his own is pretty damn high. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	There's not much more I can add to this. So many patients want to leave on their own even when they need medical attention, as you all know. At least he's more responsive today, I'll give him that. 	That sounds good to me. If we convince him to try to drink my fluids, we can take out the IV too. Though there's really no stopping him from pulling it out. (Reply to this) (Parent)

	He can consent, he's mostly alert and oriented, he wants to make the decision to leave, then I can't keep him against his will. I don't know what code of ethics the robots follow, but they're physically capable of keeping people here, and I'm not. He should be fine though as long as someone is able to encourage him to eat and drink. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	I don't expect him to be aware of medical terms after a seizure. I don't plan on shirking on my responsibilities just because we're on a boat. I've already made him known about the risks of leaving without proper treatment. He's consentable. I won't force him to stay. (Reply to this) (Parent)
