There's not much more I can add to this. So many patients want to leave on their own even when they need medical attention, as you all know. At least he's more responsive today, I'll give him that. Maybe we can give him to the end of the day and if he seems well enough we can discharge him to one of his friends?

That sounds good to me. If we convince him to try to drink my fluids, we can take out the IV too. Though there's really no stopping him from pulling it out.
