(001) Severus Snape
I suppose it is too much to ask that there is a non-headache inducing explanation to all this.

You've never heard of Alice in Wonderland?

Ah. I've heard of the title. I haven't had a chance to read it. From what I understand, it's quite the classic.

It is an acid trip, but somehow, yes, it has earned the position of classic.

One that involves a white rabbit as a metaphor for a strange trip?

Somewhat, the white rabbit is part of the whole experience of going through the looking glass and everything is peculiar down there. It's been a very long time since I looked at the book.

I think I'll have to take a look myself.

In any case, welcome (back?) to the madness.

I suppose thank you is the appropriate phrase here, although I do not know if I wish to be here.

I am Severus Snape, by the way.

It’s certainly not everyone’s cup of tea, especially if they happen to be in the middle of something important back home.

How delightfully alliterative. George Camarine, at your service.

I was, however, it seems as if I may be returned to it without interruption. At least, one can hope.

I suppose it is at that. It is a pleasure, Mr Camarine.

I've heard the same. Might I ask what you were in the middle of?

The simplest answer is a war. I've been told that such information is readily available here, but I should rather not speak of details until I have had time to sort out what that means.

That does sound important.

All I was doing was falling off a wyvern, and I can't say I'm in that much of a hurry to go back.

What is a Wyvern?

I believe some other cultures call it a dragon.

Ah, yes, those we have in my world as well.
