A few days ago, Qui-Gon Jinn made me an offer. He said he might be able to temporarily give me sight. I'm seriously thinking about taking it.

If I do, I want all of you around so I can see your stupid faces. This might be the only chance I'll ever get.

Remember you told might be able temporarily give me sight? How long is 'temporary'? Fifteen minutes? An hour? Longer?

I'm still thinking about the where part.

I really want to see the sky again. But also the ocean, and mountains, and you get the picture. I want to pick someplace where I can just sit and turn around and catch as many views at once.

	There are definitely places in Middle Earth with good views. Especially if you're a Lord of the Rings fan of any variety, it's not a bad place to choose. The ship won't have views of mountains unless we're close to port, and Tumbleweed doesn't have the ocean. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

I'm definitely doing it while I'm here. From what I was told, Tumbleweed is pretty flat and full of sand.

Do you have any thoughts where?

	On Valentine's Day I had a picnic on a hill in Dale. We could see the Lonely Mountain, Long Lake, Lake-town, Dale, and a pretty plain which is where one of the significant battles in the books took place - but it's nice now that there's no armies fighting on it. It was really pretty. Not the best view of the ocean, though. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

That does sound nice. I need somebody to help me check out a map, I can't remember all of Middle Earth's geography off the top of my head. I'm assuming that I'll only have a short time. If it's longer, maybe we can teleport to see the ocean?
