Regarding the newcomer, Michael, I think it's rather rude that some people are poking fun of him and making light of his commentary at his expense. ~~It reminds me of how I was treated~~ You ought to be ashamed of yourselves.

That being said, I'm looking forward to exploring Middle Earth. First stop, Minas Tirith!

	Admittedly, I'm more familiar with the movie version than the books. Penny introduced them to me. It's quite an adventure story. Not knowing them won't put a damper on your experience, but if you get a chance, I'd say watch them. They're very entertaining. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Fell beast - a dragon, but more like a wyvern, in that they only have hind legs. They are reportedly evil creatures, since they are associated with Sauron and the Ring Wraiths. It's a city built up the edge of a mountain, made of white stone. It's reportedly a wondrous sight to behold. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	I don't think anybody's ever tried to reason with one. Their screech is reported to be piercing, causing terror in the hearts of those who hear it. I'll be going there, eventually. Perhaps we could meet up and sight see together? (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)
