Anyone interested in a scouting party? I figure if we all kind of tag team up and keep each other in line of sight so we can check things farther out without worrying about losing the boat?

	Oh, I am the king of interfacing. We'll work something out. Yeah, we'll need to hook the water people up with something a bit sturdier, but that can be done. Also it'd be good to have a central command to send all the information back to that's separate from any of us in case we get lost or the portal gets shitty and takes people and their stuff away. Trackers and GPS would be my go to, but half of these places we end up on just fuck with any sort of location device that'd help us there.

Ok, so, you say no tethers, but do any of these magic people have spells that'd work like that? Time limit and they'd start to tug you back to the central command location?

Oh, science can work. It'd just might take longer to rig up something that would do the same deal that someone might just be able to do while waving a wand. It's not like I have my armory with me and can just toss out some particle beams that can go farther than any rope, deal with the super speed and height/depths, and still tug everyone back if they're out too long or wander too far.

But I imagine Reed would have a field day with just all of this.
