Let's see. My mother went insane, as in absolute gibbering wreck, and then died. My father was an essentially immortal maniac who roamed the planet for ten thousand years hunting monsters and fucking up their shit, drove my mother insane, and then died. Most of my presumably many siblings were killed by monsters in various horribly gruesome ways, most of them before adulthood. And my one surviving brother has a parasitic demon attached to his soul that he has to keep at bay with a magical ring. The Bloodstone name is very illustrious.
